There it was..a can of abalone sitting at one dark corner inside my kitchen cabinet. With the expiry date closing in ( can't recall which month of 2005 ), I decided to show off my long overdue culinary skills again to my family.
Menu :
1) Abalone with Spinach
2) Stir Fry Pork with Onions
3) Pan Fry Fish
4) Pan Fry Chai Po Eggs
Verdict :
My abalone with spinach - delicious,according to my family.
My stir fried pork with onions - nice, but a little on the saltish side.
Fish -Thank god my dad loves it.
Eggs - Yucksssssss!!!! Nobody tells me that I have to rinse the chai po with 10 gallons of water before using it??!! It tasted like eggs fried with 1 kg of SALT!!
Lesson learnt :
If I must fry eggs, just use onions the next time.
